I just had a small rice ball with peanut soup. Also, I sautéed some mushrooms and airfryed some okra. The food was delicious!

Next up is tilling some of the soil in back yard, followed by push-ups, and maybe 5 rounds of boxing training on the bags.

If you climb a good tree, we push you.

Yesterday I ate salad in nutrient drinks all day. Doing the same today with a lot of water hydration. Using the water Fitness tool I want to drink 100% of my daily quotient.

Last night, I spent an hour and a half in 100 degree heat manually tilling the soil in my backyard. And I did all of that right after a 10 hr workday. My energy level is through the roof lately!

This morning, I weighed myself and I'm exactly 200 lbs.

Today, will definitely be a swimming day. I plan to spend 1 hr in the pool. For lunch I bought 2 pears, 2 mangos, and 2 avocados and I plan to make a salad.

I'm back in the saddle. This morning I did 10 each small and deep knee bends, 3 sets of ten arm swirls backwards and forwards. 3 sets of 8 head rolls, other arm exercises. 3 sets of ten leg lifts, 10 reg. crunches, 20 bicycle crunches, other exercises for the waist and abs. Showered and did libations, Drank glass of restructured well water, ate big slice of watermelon, 2 hrs later drank vega and raw meal smoothie with a banana and blueberries in it. Around 4:30 will have meal of the day proceeded by more water - ancient grains with sauteed onions and portabella mushrooms, kale, avocado, plantain and black beans. Will weigh again on Friday.

Forgot to mention in my post and the video that I did three sets of 15 pound 10 assisted dips yesterday at the gym before Zumba.

Then I went to the grocery store and walked home 1/2 a mile with 4 gallons of water (2 gallons of water in each hand). I put two gallons on the scale and it's 17 lb in each hand. That's 34 pounds for a 1/2 mile ( not counting the 5th gallon that I had on my back in my backpack)... with stopping periodically to rest

I woke up today with throbbing biceps (in a good way).

Ima take it easy today and just focus on the water and nutrients.... if I can find the strength to lift the glasses to my mouth. Lol

Sɛ Onyankopɔn pɛ a, I'm going to Ghana in September to shoot some shows on economic development. If a brotha can trim down 15lbs before I go to Ghana, I will easily lose an additional 10 lbs when I'm in Ghana.

Immediate actions I'm taking,

Reducing my fufu balls in half

Reducing  my kenkey balls in half

Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables

Replacing my lattes and coffee with smoothies

Also, starting tomorrow I'm upping my workout routine to  include Capoeira training, kete/adowa dancing, boxing, cardio and weight lifting.
Yɛda Nyame ase! Goal accomplished! I lost 17 lbs in a month.

Today is my krada so I will be in a contemplative mood all day. I will try to sneak in an hr of swimming at lunch time.

Can't stop won't stop because this is a lifestyle now. I'm also used to eating smaller portions and I feel much better physically. Interestingly, all of my weight loss has been in my hips and thighs, my stomach hasn't changed. My new goal is to get to 190, and I will accomplish that goal by increasing the intensity of my workout. Once I hit the new goal I will jump back into Capoeira.

Congratulations all! You are doing blacktastic. I worked out yesterday and again today with 20 squats, 3X10 leg lifts 3X10 arm/shoulder rolls, arm stretches to ceiling, 30 chest stretches, 30 karate-type punches, high, 10 bird-dogs for waist. I have lost the 5 extra lbs. but working on 5 more since it was so easy to gain 5. I an beginning to see my stomach deflate though not completely flat yet and I see and feel other muscles tightening. I will add walking this weekend.
