No. I've been exercising a lot as well as working with body-weight and weight-lifting, so I'm stronger. Besides those layers of excess fat weren't helping much on the strength front. The objective has been replacing (dysfunctional) fat with functional muscle and so far so good.

Met with a personal trainer today.
My cardio water and diet game are on point but my weight training game sucks so I'm going to step it up soon one way or another.

I feel great. Eat great for the most part. Most food cravings don't even exist anymore.

TMI moment.
I think the improved diet, exercise and water intake has has helped to virtually eliminate menstrual cramping.
So excited that we are all focused on Fitness and

Feeling the ripple effects of a fitness lifestyle

I've been off of work for the past few days, and I haven't done much aside from cardio. My focus now is on my poor footwork, and so I've spent my evenings studying great boxers like Sugar Ray Leonard, Floyd Mayweather, and Sweet Pea.

Nonetheless, I'm happy with my weight loss and physique.

Hey fam, this week has been crazy busy but I did manage to get in three workouts and I'm power walking right now as I voice to text this update.

Increasing my water intake has done dramatic things for my waistline. I'm now working to start integrating 30 minutes of Weights into my workout every morning before I do cardio.

The trainer suggested that is the best way to ensure that I'm not just burning carbs but am burning fat and creating muscle.
 @KRS2
I'll post my scale results for better or worse on your September 5th target-date too.

I feel great. Still want to do a video meet and greet at some point. Maybe we can do next Sunday September 10th thoughts everyone?

Congrats at the 3 workouts. I try to always do something every day, even if it is not the full. Sunday would work for me.

Yes next Sunday should work for me. Once confirmed I'll put an alarm on my phone so I don't miss this one.

Just finished a 4 mile walk on the trail near my house. It was a pleasant day.  Started off kinda iffy when  two groups of cyclists warned us that they had seen a copperhead. But we decided to keep going and luckily didn't run into anything other than a squirrel.  Sn: two more days to the big day.

Happy Birthday to me!
So..... I lost 6 lbs in the last week. Funny how you can do right wen you are short on time LOL

In other news Baba Kamau's bday is also today. I decided to bake some Vegan/Organic cupcakes to honor and celebrate him.  Thanks @BestVeganChef for the recipe for the cake.
